                                                           Oliver Twist
Oliver Twist was an orphan. He was born in a workhouse but until nine years he lived at the farm.At the age of nine Mr.Bumble,a man who worked in the workhouse took Oliver to live to learn craft. He gave him the surname Twist, because he gave surnames to orphans in alfabet order.
As the boys were allowed to eat only one plate of porridge, they always felt hungry. One day one boy couldn't sleep, because he was very hungry and said that he would eat somebody if he wouldn't eat additional porridge. Other boys decided to draw lots and the lt had to ask for additional portion. The loser was Oliver Twist. When everybody ate this portion Oliver said:"please, sir I want some more". Mr.Bumble and other men were very angry and decided to offer a boy for any person wishing to take a boy to work.At first one man came,he wanted to take Oliver as a chimney-sweep,but Oliver asked Mr. Bumble not to take him. Then Mr.Sowerberry took Oliver.Mr.Sowerberry was an understaker. Olivier lived with Mr.and Mrs.Sowerberry. One day when Oliver was helping to Mr. Sawerberry one boy came.
His name was Noa. He abused Oliver's mother and they began to fight. Because of it Oliver was striken.
Then he desided to run away to London. He went seven days,he was looking for food. One woman found him in the street, gave him food and then he went to London again.
One day he was sitting in the street one boy, approached to him and said:"I'm a Jack Dawkins,I can give you something to eat and a place to sleep".
Oliver agreed and they went to Fagin.Fagin was a man with whom some boys robbers liked. He introduced with Oliver, gave him some food and let him to sleep there. They lifed together and one day Jack Dawkins,Oliver Twist and another boy, Charles Bates went for  a walk to steal something. When they  were stealing a wrap from the man's pocket, a seller saw it and told seller's name was Mr. Brownlow.Mr.Brownlow opened the door of his shop and said that some boys had stolen his wrap. They began to run to catch the robbers and thought that Oliver was a robber.
But when they were spoken to a judge Mr.Brownlow came and said that Oliver wasn't guilty and this boy to live with him.But Fagin, his friend Bill Sykes were afraid that Oliver would tell the police about them and because of it one of their friend Nancy pretended that she was Oliver's sister, went to the police and recognized where he was.
One day when Mr.Brownlow sent Oliver to his friend to give books. On the way Nancy and Bill stole Oliver.Mr.Brownlow was looking for Oliver for a long time but he couldn't find him.
One night Bill Sykes took Oliver, went to his friend Toby, took some guns and went to Mr.Brownlow's house to rob him.But when they wanted to enter his house Mr.Brownlow woke up.Bill began to shoot and the bullet hit Oliver's arm.Bill and Toby took Oliver and run away.
Some days after Nancy, feeling sorry for Oliver decided to meet Mr.Brownlow and tell him where was Oliver. They met and she said that Oliver lived with Fagin. At that moment Jack Dawkins was overhearing their discussion. He told it to Fagin and Bill killed Nancy, though she didn't say anything about Bill. That day they moved to another place.Bill didn't go with them.He went with his white dog to the country beet on the way he decided to return. When he was coming back his dog run away from him.Bill came back to Fagin. While they were speaking police came with a lot of people. He didn't quit the house. He took Oliver and rose on the roof.Bill wanted to move from one roof to another and used a rope.He tied a rope around his body and moved to another roof. But at that moment his dog began to bark he sliped and was hanged with this rope.Fagin was sent to prison.Oliver Twist returned to Mr.Brownlow .Some time after Oliver asked Mr.Brownlow  to invite Fagin. They went to the prison.Fagin became mad. When he saw Oliver they embrased.Fagin said that Oliver had to could go to one place and take his jewelerry. They said goodbye to each other and Oliver with Mr.Brownlow went away.
                                     Charles Dickens

Charles John Huffam Dickens (7 February 1812 – 9 June 1870) was an English writer, generally considered to be the greatest novelist of the Victorian period and responsible for some of English literature's most iconic novels and characters.

His father, John Dickens was a clerk in the Naval Pay Office. He had a poor head for finances, and in 1824 found himself imprisoned for debt. His wife and children, with the exception of Charles, who was put to work at Warren's Blacking Factory, joined him in the Marshalsea Prison.
Between 1824 and 1827 Dickens was a day pupil at a school in London. At fifteen, he found employment as an office boy at an attorney's, while he studied shorthand at night. In 1829 he became a free-lance reporter at Doctor's Commons Courts, and in 1830 he met and fell in love with Maria Beadnell, the daughter of a banker. In 1833 his relationship with Maria Beadnell ended, probably because her parents did not allow her to marry him.In the same year he published his first story. In 1834, still a newspaper reporter, he adopted the soon to be famous pseudonym "Boz." The first series of Sketches by Boz was published in 1836, and that same year Dickens was hired to write short texts to accompany a series of humorous sporting illustrations by Robert Seymour, a popular artist. Some time after Dickens altered the initial conception of The Pickwick Papers , which became a novel. The Pickwick Paperscontinued in monthly parts through November 1837, and, to everyone's surprise, it became an enormous popular success.
After the success of Pickwick, Dickens embarked on a full-time career as a novelist, producing work of increasing complexity at an incredible rate, although he continued, as well, his journalistic and editorial activities. Oliver Twist was begun in 1837, and continued in monthly parts until April 1839.
Some years passed, Dickens and his family toured Italy, and were much abroad, in Italy, Switzerland, and France, until 1847. Dickens returned to London in December 1844, when The Chimes was published, and then went back to Italy.
In 1847, in Switzerland, Dickens began Dombey and Son.The Battle of Life appeared in December of that year. In 1848 Dickens also wrote an autobiographical fragment, directed and acted in a number of amateur theatricals, and published what would be his last Christmas book, The Haunted Man.
Dickens's final public readings took place in London in 1870. He suffered another stroke on June 8 at Gad's Hill, after a full day's work on Edwin Drood, and died the next day. He was buried at Westminster Abbey on June 14, and the last episode of the unfinished Mystery of Edwin Drood appeared in September.
Dickens' works are still famous.A lot of children, adults all over the world read his books and like it.

My spring holidays

My favorite holidays are spring holidays because they are at the end of  March and weather is very good.
Every day of my holidays I went for a walk to the park with my friends, cousins and my uncle, who came from Moscow to Baku. And we celebrated Novruz Bayram together. We often went to my grannies and grandfather.
We jumped over bonfire and I was burnt a little but it's trifle.
Then me and my sister were grown semeni.
On holidays me,my class and Elmira Borisovna went to "Ali and Nino".There were some children from school №27 and we were read chapter №5 from "Oliver Twist".Then I decided to watch this film and read this book.I was very impressed with this book and I also enjoyed my holidays a lot.
